Sleeper/Cat Costume Pattern
"Sockie" was delighted when we surprised her with her very own Kitty Cat Costume. Her favorite activity is climbing trees, (unlike Ms. Monkey, who says the only good tree is one that grows bananas), and she loves climbing in her kitty outfit and "confusing" all her feathered friends on April Fools Day. Of course she means no harm to them, and they quickly got accustomed to her being up there amongst them and simply carried on with their chirping and collecting nesting materials. We kept a close eye on Sockie but it took her most of the day
to tire of her climbing actities. She came down exhausted but intact and is having her supper as I write this blog.

Puppy gets a Kitty
I can't tell you all how excited little B.S. was to get his new friend, the very mischievious "Kiki" kitten. The two immediately formed an alliance and decided that terrorizing the house was the first order of business. B.S. showed Kiki every nook and cranny indoors and when they found Miss Monkey's winter toboggan, it was "game on". By the time I arrived, upon hearing a louder-than-normal commotion, the floors had already sustained numerous "skid marks" and I was completely taken aback. How could they have created this much mischief in such a short time? However, Kiki was rightly apologetic and twined herself adoringly between my legs while I tidied the mess. Afterwards, I redirected them both to a more acceptable game of chase the motorized mouse, and life returned to normal (momentarily). I'm sure this isn't the last of their "monkey business", but I have asked Miss Monkey to keep an eye on them in future.....life is never the same when you add socosimians and their pets to your home!!!!
